Hypothyroidism
Tired, moody, forgetful, depressed, weight gain . . . Do these symptoms sound familiar? If so, you could have hypothyroidism and not even know it.
Hypothyroidism is the most common thyroid disorder and occurs when the thyroid doesn’t produce enough thyroid hormone. Your body slows down, and you may feel sluggish, sensitive to the cold, sleepy and depressed.
You may also gain weight without eating more or exercising less. If left untreated, hypothyroidism may increase your risk for heart disease, infertility and other health problems.
