You may have heard the story: there are foods you can eat that will actually burn calories, instead of adding calories. Is that true? Unfortunately, no. While certain foods have fewer calories, and some foods are healthier than others - it's still healthy eating (calories in) and exercise (calories out) that determine if you lose weight or maintain a healthy weight.

In her clinic, Dr. Nadine Burke gets a lot of questions about which foods can make you strong healthy and fit. Dr. Burke says, "Foods don't burn fat, they give you energy."
